Andoni Iraola has been full of praise for Jaidon Anthony, as a player and a person following his deadline day loan move to Leeds United.
The Cherries announced the loan signing of Luis Sinisterra in a deal which saw their winger go the other way.
The Englishman had appeared to be a favoured option of Iraola, starting three games so far this season.
Sinisterra had been linked with a move away from Elland Road all summer long.
It feels like when the chance for Bournemouth to sign him came up, they jumped at it with both hands.
The quality that the Colombian could offer clearly was rated higher than what Anthony could, and has been producing.
What has Andoni Iraola said about Jaidon Anthony and Luis Sinisterra?
As mentioned earlier, this move came out of the blue and the Cherries took the gamble on the move.
Iraola confirmed this fact: “It is a situation that happened on the last day of the window.
“The club thought that we could be stronger adding a player like Luis Sinisterra.”
The international break almost comes at the wrong time for the Spaniard.
He will be looking to gel his squad together further.
When asked about Sinisterra’s link up with the team, he said: “He was on Saturday at Brentford watching the game. Now he is going with the national team, so we will not have him for the next 10 to 12 days.”

So it is not clear how many sessions he will get in before the Cherries’ next game.
It was a difficult choice to let Anthony go it seems: “It is a decision he had to make.
“I tried to help him as much as I could, because Jaidon, I love him as a person and as a player.”
There is clearly a great relationship there, this may explain why this deal is only a loan, opposed to a permanent swap deal.
This sentiment was shared by Iraola: “I know he is going to play very well there in Leeds and I hope he returns next season even better as a player.”
It appears that the winger ultimately had the final say: “The option he had also I think was really good, to a very good team.
“He decided to take that route. It’s a loan, so I hope he comes back with us, for sure he will, like a better player.”
The deal seems to benefit both parties and Bournemouth fans can look forward to the electric Colombian at the Vitality.
