Bournemouth boss Andoni Iraola has tipped summer signing Milos Kerkez to be an important member of the Cherries’ squad this campaign.
Kerkez signed for Bournemouth from AZ Alkmaar in July, becoming Iraola’s third addition since taking over as manager.
The 19-year-old was a highly sought after prospect and impressed during pre-season, earning his spot in the starting lineup against West Ham on the opening day.
Having impressed against the Hammers in a 1-1 draw, Iraola heaped praise on the Hungarian following the match.
“Milos is very young, a 19-year-old, but he has experience,” he told the Daily Echo.
“He has the correct attitude. He is willing to improve.

“He pushes, he is brave in the duels. Probably he has to improve the finishing at both ends.
“Good crosses and good decision-making in the last third and careful in the defensive transitions. But he knows.
“He is improving from training to training and I think he will be very valuable for us this season.”
The teenager joined Bournemouth for a fee of £15.5million and that looks to be a snip so far.
He is clearly a player capable of playing top flight football, and a player with a high ceiling too.
It has been notoriously difficult for some players to adapt to the Premier League from life in the Eredivisie, but Kerkez seemed to fit in as though he had been playing in the division for years.
Kerkez is shining
The early signs are promising and seemingly the youngster has the skillset necessary to develop into a top player in the coming years.
With eight caps for Hungary already, he is destined to be a regular for his nation for years to come.
Bournemouth face Liverpool on Saturday away from home on, which is never an easy task, where Kerkez will be hoping to continue his impressive.
