Bournemouth are showing interest in Southampton striker Che Adams, should Kieffer Moore and Jamal Lowe leave the club.
With several other Premier League clubs interested in the Scotsman, including Wolves and Everton, there is a fight on the cards.
Moore and Lowe have been linked away all summer and should they leave, the Cherries are light at the top end of the pitch.
Although Andoni Iraola has suggested his Welsh forward won’t leave the club, Cardiff City are still showing serious interest.
Adams has just a year left on his deal at St Mary’s and as a result would be available for a Bosman deal in January.
As a result, Southampton may be willing to let him depart for a decent fee.
He joined moved to the South coast in 2019 from Birmingham City and has gone on to make 149 appearances.
34 goals and 15 assists in that time saw his side eventually drop to the Championship.
The striker has scored three goals in as many games this season, but with speculation around his future he has been out the squad recently.

Should Bournemouth sign Che Adams?
As a back up option to Dominic Solanke, this would be a great signing.
With the talisman looking set to stay on for the season, competition for that number nine role could be invaluable.
Adams does have a similar skill set to the Englishman which adds to the usefulness of the move.
He offers pace and power in attacking areas and has an eye for goal.
In Iraola’s system, high pressing would come naturally to the forward.
It is yet to be seen whether or not Adams would be happy playing as a second string striker, but with Solanke, he’s going to take some shifting.
The Scottish striker would be a great option at the Vitality if a deal can be done, but if Lowe and Moore stay, its hard to understand the squad dynamics.
