19-year-old Bristol City star Alex Scott is set to have his medical at Bournemouth before a £20 million move to the Vitality.
The attacking midfielder had been linked with other Premier League outfits with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham all interested.
Despite all this interest Scott is moving to the south coast to join the Cherries.
It seemed talks had cooled, until earlier this week Bournemouth made the killer bid.
Why is there so much interest in Alex Scott?
Scott made his debut for the Robins at 17-years-old and has been a ever present in the first team for many seasons.
Despite often playing further forward, he is very versatile. He is comfortable dropping deep and dictating play from the base of midfield.

This step up to Premier League football comes at the perfect time for Scott. Playing in a side where he will see a lot of the ball will allow him to continue his development.
A confident dribbler of the ball, he loves to take players on and drive past them into forward areas, becoming one of the most adept players at this in the Championship.
Why has Alex Scott signed for Bournemouth?
Bournemouth are the perfect team for Scott at this stage of his career.
Under new manager Adoni Iraola, in his preferred 4-3-3 formation, Scott will thrive playing in tandem with Phillip Billing in midfield and linking up with Dango Outtarra out wide.
The other options for Scott to choose from sound better than they are, when compared to Bournemouth.
Wolves are looking like a side in trouble, losing Julen Lopetegui and a lack of other signings. Scott back in the Championship within a year.
There are no guarantees of consistent first team at West Ham or Tottenham. Playing consistently will only benefit Scott’s development at a young age.
Playing week in, week out for a Premier League side that seems to be on the up, making the most of youthful players with a mix of experience, could help Scott become a world beater soon.
