Leeds United’s Jaidon Anthony is out on loan from Bournemouth and is in line to make his debut for his new club after the international break.

It is well reported that a loan swap deal took place to bring Luis Sinisterra to the Vitality, saw Anthony move to Elland Road.

He became one of nine signings made by Daniel Farke over the summer.

The winger was signed due to his Championship experience, scoring eight goals and assisting 7 in his last stint.

The English wide man made eleven starts last season. Andoni Iraola declared his love, but he still let Anthony go.

What did Jaidon Anthony say about his move?

On the transfer, he said: “It all happened really quickly but I’m buzzing to get in and around the group and hopefully help the team.”

He was also fully aware of the challenge the league poses: “I played a lot of games in it and yeah, I know it’s a really tough league and really physical and demanding.

“It’s really exciting to come back and try and help push for another promotion.”

The reason for the move in Antony’s mind was to play more games on a regular basis.

He also wants to achieve another promotion: “Obviously the goal is to get promoted, play as many games as possible, help the team and really be a big part of the success.”

What has Daniel Farke said about Jaidon Anthony?

When asked about his counterpart in Sinisterra, Farke said: “I have praised Luis since I arrived. He can be outstanding and dominant at this level.

“We found a perfect replacement. With Jaidon Anthony we found the best possible option.”

It is clear that the manager is happy with his new man: “Proven in the Championship. Started games in the Premier League. Brilliant lad. Desperate to be here. Still an age he can improve from.”
