Tyler Adams is set to return from a hamstring injury soon with a potential Bournemouth debut on the horizon.
Adams signed for the Cherries from Leeds United for a fee in the region of £20 million.
He had been struggling with a hamstring injury which had kept him out of the end of last season and the Lilywhite’s pre season.

Despite recovering from injury, the United States captain is being spoken up by Andoni Iraola.
He believes the midfielder choosing to sign for the club is a huge statement and shows the positive progress the club are making.
What has Andoni Iraola said about Tyler Adams?
The Cherries boss has discussed the chances of Adams making his debut.
Talking about Adams’ place in the squad at the Vitality he said: “I think Tyler [Adams] is going to be a very important player for us. The way we want to play, he’s a very dynamic number six.
“He’s aggressive, very good without the ball, very good on the ball.”
The American was one of the best players at Elland Road last season, despite the club getting relegated to the Championship.
Despite him joining from the second division, Iraola said: “His signing is good for everyone. For the club, a player with his level wanting to come here, I think it’s a very good sign.”
Despite a return to fitness coming soon, the Spaniard isn’t putting any pressure on him.
On this point he said: “Right now we have to prepare without Tyler. Tyler will be out for some games and we knew it before signing.
“He hasn’t played a game since I think March, so it will take him time to reach his normal level.”
Hopefully for Bournemouth he can get back to fitness and take up a starting role.
With him in midfield, the Cherries could go to the next level.
